Blinds are 300/600 I have 15K and the villian has about 16K.

I have A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif /images/graemlins/club.gifK in LP and raise to 1800
Button Calls

Flop A /images/graemlins/spade.gif Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I'm first to act and go all-in. Button calls with AQ.

Should I have pushed?

Value bet that. Pushing will get lesser hands to fold and better hands to call.

pushing is correct call theres no way to put villian on aq, a lot of weaker hands + flush draws will call this all in, which is what you want. he just happened to have 1 of the very few hands that beat you.

I wonder if a bigger preflop raise would scare off AQ, quess there is no way to really tell. I have been getting killed with AK.

So you flop TPTK and you want to scare the poor guy out of the pot? I don't get it. Or is this one of those reverse psychology things "If I go AI, he'll think I have nothing."

Please refrain from posting the results of the hand in the original post.

I like a slightly smaller bet. You know, the type that says, "man, o man, I wish that ace didn't flop."
