I just joined Interpoker, a Crypto. I really like the fact that you can muck a losing hand after showdown.

Why can't you do this at Party? Anyone complain about this to management?

You can... it just shows what you had in the hand history when you go to showdown.

u can, just click the box. If you are talking about the HH, its a huge advantage to you if you as most people don't even realize the option is available, much less its potential application.

Big 10 > Another Crappy Conf. > The Big Least*

*(soon to lose their auto BCS bid and fade into football obscurity)

That's what I mean. In the hand history. It doesn't show in hand history in cryptos.

The reason it does, is that it is within the rules for a player to request to see anyone's hand at showdown. You can do this at your local casino, and they will show you the hand (if it hasn't hit the muck yet), but you won't be the most popular guy at the table.

The reason the rule is there in casinos is to help detect and prevent collusion, and it doesn't really succeed in doing that. Unfortunately, you'll get angle-shooters who will demand to see folded hands at the showdown just to get information about how their opponents play. I don't like the fact that Party and its skins offer this information, but since they do, anyone who plays there should be aware of it and make use of it.

I thought "everywhere" showed the mucked cards in the hand histories.... it's one of my several complaints with Absolute that they don't.

Never played the Cryptos - but I'll remember this as a reason to not be in a rush to try.

People really don't seem to notice that you can use it. It's hilarious when the loser of a hand will 'fess up and admit to having AQo when the hand history shows 7/10o. Lying bastards.

It does a better job at showing colusion online that it does in b & m. Good enough that it is a nice feature to have on the site.

Being able to see hands mucked really helps thinking players at the low / middle limits, but I can imagine it hurting at higher levels where reads are much more important.
