I don't like making big laydowns at the river for 1 bet.. but is it obvious my hand is no good? Maybe he has KK? lol

I check and call this river. Unless you have a good read, there could be a few hands you are ahead of, especially at 1/2.

The hands he would 3-bet PF:

8 combinations of AK
6 combinations of KK
3 combinations of QQ
0.5 * 3=1.5 combinations of JJ most players don't 3-bet JJ
0.5 * 6 = 3 combinations of AQ most players don't 3-bet AQ

You are beating 9 of ~22 of his most possible hands
This is a clear call

Stakes are not always not a good indication (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=2016747&page=0&view=c ollapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1) of the level of play.

I put him on AK, AQ, KK, QQ, or JJ. JJ gets 3-bet all the time from his spot. When he gave a lot of action on the flop I was thinking more of QQ or JJ as I had capped the flop and he should fear KK or AA from me, yet he had no fear. When the turn brought a 3rd heart I had some extra outs but none came and I paid off the river. He showed JJ and took the pot.
