These are two hands from my trip to Vegas last week. Comments on all streets appreciated.

Hand 1: 2/4 200 max at Mandalay Bay. This is like my 3rd hand at the table so I have no reads.

Hero is SB with K /images/graemlins/club.gifJ /images/graemlins/club.gif ... 3 or 4 limpers, Hero limps as well.

Flop: J /images/graemlins/diamond.gifT /images/graemlins/heart.gif2 /images/graemlins/club.gif ... Hero bets 15, all fold to CO who raises to 30, Hero calls.

Turn: 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif ... Hero checks, CO bets 15, Hero raises to 60, CO calls.

River: J /images/graemlins/spade.gif ... Hero ???

Hand 2: 1/2 50 max at Luxor, Hero's stack is about 350 at this point; Villian about 180. Villian is a bit loose and more than a bit aggressive with draws.

Hero limps in MP with 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5 or 6 other limpers including Villian who is to immediate left.

Flop: 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif3 /images/graemlins/club.gif ... Hero bets 10, Villian raises to 25, all fold, Hero ???

in hand 1, why did you raise the turn?

in hand 2 I would probably push/.

Turn: 7 ... Hero checks, CO bets 15, Hero raises to 60, CO calls.

Someone explain this to me......

Hand #2 I wouldnt push not a horrible time to smooth call and see one more card IMHO I dont see him on a draw ....let him believe you are on one. CR all in on the turn if he commits himself.

Hand 1:
FLOP: I'd be a little uneasy after being raised here. It is hard to lay down KJ on the flop since any top pair could be trying to find out how much you like your hand. If you call here, which may be right, proceed with caution.

TURN: A lovely club fell, great! Either lead or check and hope that he bets small. He only bet $15. That was really good since you got a chance to see another card with your draw. Don't raise here unless you have a really good read and you're certain you have Villain beat.

River: Well, now I don't know. You're in a guessing game here. I would probably bet as much as I'd be willing to call. If he raises, then I fold.

Hand 2:
All-in, all-in! Even if he has a str8 you have plenty of outs. There are tons of hands that you beat.

Made a little mistake on hand 2. I thought Villain put himself all-in. You don't need to go all in on the flop but try to build the pot as big as possible.

What's wrong with the turn checkraise in hand 1? I don't play a whole lot of NL, especially live. Is this retarded?

He raised the flop and put in a moderate bet on the turn Im not sure you have much FE ...plus its much more of a Bluff since your on the turn not the river...

Hand#2 I must be reading wrong...is their a possible straight on the board??

no, you are right on hand 2...board was 863, two spades

So do you think taking another card off is horrible here??

It looks like TPGK or over pair to me....

I want to break him Im not THAT interested in taking the pot right now...bad thinking Im not sure.

So, between flat calling, reraising a moderate amount, and pushing, which do you think is the best option?

Makes sense. Given that I played the turn the way I did, what's your action on the river?

Definitely NOT pushing there. Like I said Ill live dangerously and call bc IT KEEPS HIM AHEAD IN THE HAND.

I reraised to 75, Villian pushed, I insta-called. He had TT and my set held up.

I'll wait until I get some comments on the river action in Hand 1 before I post the results to that.

he was not very good but i wouldn't go so far as to call him a complete donk. against any other player at the table his push probably would have been well justified

Hmm Ive played that game but it was in the Summer....

Didnt seem so loose...maybe it has changed>?

Was there a 35-40 yr old asian dude there with glasses who was talking alot and friendly??

An older Jewish gentleman called Mike who the staff was fawning over(OMG THIS DUDE IS SOOOO RICH)?

If so, I didn't see them. It was mostly college kids with a few middle-aged men and women thrown in.

The game was extremely loose. I bought in for $50 and cashed out like $590 or something...I got whacked over the head with the deck though. This hand was one of three times in 2 hours when I busted someone by flopping a set against their overpair.
