No way in hell Ac is going to fold that flop as it's probably mixed with a card 9+ if not already a pair on board. You never know sometimes. I'd bet 0 and check/fold as 88 is a joke as an overpair.

Edit: I'll add that you're only a coinflip if they have ANY club 9 or higher and decide to call you.

though i likely have the best hand on the flop and they don'g know i have 88...i didn't realize this point about it being a coin-flip

i guess this isn't a good a flop as i originally thought
