(I know his game is far more aggressive, but, does the extra player + the "I will showdown any hand" attitude make up for it?)

theres a huge differnce between putting in one extra small bet as the big blind, and 1.5 extra small bets from the sb.

yeah, i didn't really think about what people ment by i should start defending my blinds...Now that i think about it this hand is horrible. Thanks for all the help.

right now, at this point in your poker playing career, there are 50 things more important than defending your blinds. when you start seeing more hands folded around to the late position players, then you can start worrying about that.

there is noway im calling this from the BB let alone the SB...u got lucky with that flop...but ur still in hot water with that hand - u have bottom straight and if i flush did come urs is the lowest..... ??? id fold this 100% of the time unless playing against someone who sees 99% of the flops and even then id fold it 98% of the time /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

What are you putting button on that 23s could possibly beat? Did you even consider the limping MP3? Horrible.... lucky, but horrible.
