Very similar to mine with higher bb/100

you're gonna get all sorts of "not enough vpip" responses though

You are too tight. Your VPIP is too low, and you aren't defending your blinds enough. You don't steal the blinds often enough, and your PFR% is too low.

Basically, you are winning because you are waiting for huge edges and pushing them, but you could be winning more if you pushed some smaller edges too, at the risk of increasing your variance.

i would protect your blinds. seems like u can get some of your money back at times instead of folding everytime its raised.

You don't mention what level you're playing at - makes answering you're last question kinda difficult.

vpip = vol put $ in the pot

Congrats on being up over 200BB, could be more if you'd loosen up a bit - play and raise more hands preflop.

Yes, it is.

Also, most UTG raises aren't steal type raises. So, this really isnt a blind defense.

You are a mess...
Crackthis: "Here is my VP$IP, what do you think of it"
Forum: "it's pretty low, you should loosen up a bit"
Crackthis: "Oh... well, what is it anyways?"

LOL. Anyways, if your new to the PT check out This FAQ: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=1659321&page=0&view=colla psed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1

This will give you a general idea of where your stats should fall around. VP$IP is the number of times you enter the pot voluntarily (i.e. not on a blind). Yours is a little low but if your fairly new to it it's fine to just push the larger edges until you better identify the smaller ones. Do you have SSHE, TOP, etc.?

Second everything CallMeIshmael says. When someone raises from UTG they are not bluffing.

I'd concentrate on generally loosening up preflop before you worry too much about defending your blinds. If you defend your blinds incorrectly (as here) you'll just end up losing more money. Until you get a better feel for it I'd suggest only treating an open raise from the CO, Button or SB as an attempt to steal; and in those cases reraise with AA-88, AK-AT, KQs-KTs and KQo-KJo, and fold everything else. That should get you enough respect in your blinds without getting into terrible trouble.

So are these stats horrible? I've only been playing cards for about a year and a half. And i just started reading Small Stakes hold'em, and the super system 2.
