View Full Version : "Typical" statistics in limit vs. no-limit

So I have an idea of what "typical" winrates and SDs are for winning limit players. (Say, 2-3BB/100 WR and 15-20BB/100 SD.) Are there analogous "typical" values for no limit? If so, what are the units? From what I've read, BB/100 seems to be used for no limit as well, where BB just means 2x the big blind. But the winrates and SDs seem to vary more from player to player in no-limit. Is this true?

Also, would there be any reason to prefer a time unit in no limit other than "/100"? The action in a limit game is fairly independent of your stack size, but not so in no limit. So I would be tempted to use something like "/session" or "/buy-in".
