This actually has nothing to do with slowplaying aces, because I would hope you would call a decent PF raise with your pocket pair. This has more to do with not backing up your entire stack on unimproved AA.

Of course with no read on you, it's tough for him to lay this down.

I had something similar happen to me, I was at a casino and was BB in with 24s, no raises so I check. guy bets into me putting me all in on the turn when I hit my 2 pair. I call. He shows AA. Then looks at me like I'm a retard.
