i've played every limit up to $10/20 and been a winner at all but the $5/10 limit full(2K hands). beginning in February, i started playing exclusively no limit and pot limit $100 buy in. these stats could be misleading since the party skins changed the BB from $2 to $1 in the middle of this sample. most of these hands are from 6 MAX tables...maybe 500 hands are from full ring.

VPIP: 22.78
VPIP from SB: 40.66
folded SB to steal: 86.66
folded BB to steal: 68.12
att to steal: 18.68
won $ when seeing flop: 38.10
BB/100 hands: 16.19
went to SD: 30.80
won $ at SD: 54.14
PFR%: 8.95

is this a typical win rate? i don't feel i'm running unusually great, it just feels that people pay me off most of the time when i make my big hands. the game cannot be this soft, can it? i actually feel i've paid others off a few more times than i should have, and think i could be doing better. unrealistic?

cheers!

most players are losing players, so I guess based on that definition, it's quite atypical

plus thats high for even the atypical winners

Hey,

congrats on your success so far and your numbers seem to indicate that you know what you're doing. 10k hands is a big enough sample to realize whether or not you're capable of winning at these limits but personally, I'd say 25k-30k hands will give you a more complete answer to your original question.

Still, keep playing and winning!

PS - From my personal experience, I'd say the Party NL$100 games are super soft and 4-tabling them for say 25-30 hrs/wk one can generate +$4k/month pretty much on auto-pilot.

I imagine that after 30k hands your bb/100 wil be < 11. But that's nothing to sneeze at either!

Best of luck.

" these stats could be misleading since the party skins changed the BB from $2 to $1 in the middle of this sample"

The fairly sure this will mess up your BB/100 stat but I'm not sure how much.

It may not mess it up at all, in a sense, as PT will store the hand histories as two different games won't it? PT uses the size of the big blind as the reference point to classify a game level. So the danger is that you may know get $100 buyin hand histories mixed up with old histories from the $50 game (etc.).
