these stats are for about 28k hands of party 1/2. this was my first attempt at short handed play. i was running at around 3.5bb/100 for the first 10k or so, and have been running at no better than break even since then. my current bb/100 is 1.09.

I realize that this is still positive, but i have no confidence in my game right now, and my long losing streak is causing me to become less aggressive. I'm going to step away for a few weeks and try to start from scratch. Anybody notice anything here in particular that i should focus on?

vpip: 23.40
vol from SB: 34.84
fold sb to steal: 82.54
fold bb to steal: 55.02
attempt to steal: 22.91
won $ WSF: 35.24
went to SD: 38.98
won $ at SD: 49.09
pfr: 13.81
saw flop all hands: 35.10
check raise: 1.10% poss action
31.11 flop 60.56 turn 8.33 river

thanks everybody for your help during this attempt, hopefully i'll be back.

Steal more. A lot more. Keep in mind that even if SB & BB call a lot, this is still worthwhile. When you have a decent hand and good position, you are value-raising.

Your went to SD seems a bit high especially if the 1/2 games are as passive as people say. Try to analyze some of the situations that you call down in. Improving hand reading ability and eliminating tilt will help quite a bit in making these difficult decisions.

I for one have no idea how to interpret the checkraise stat but would be interested if someone would explain how it works.

Going for the checkraise just because is not a good move at this level because it is too passive. I'd estimate I whiff about 70% of the time. They won't bet their no/under pair but they will call with it.

Just use it against the aggressive players & bluffers. Punish someone who steals flops too much by checkraising when you hit the flop.
