Do you know how Terri Schiavo came to be in the state she is in?

She had Bulemia. She chose to refuse her body food for so long that her electrolyte level became so low her heart stopped. Before they could revive her she was brain damaged, resulting in her current state. I am not saying she deserves to be starved to death, but taking the feeding tube out is resulting in what she was doing to herself anyway.

And if the bulemia was induced by abuse from her husband, would you feel the same way?

Hey, if it was influenced by Aliens, then definately not...cause then she can be restored by their mystical healing machines.

Oh wait, we're not living in fantasyland. Sorry.

There have been reports and accusations of abuse against her husband. Enough to create some doubt anyway.

In most cases, you have two or three years to prove the truth of "reports" and "allegations". This case has gone on for 15 years, and you are still referring to them as "reports" and "allegations". It's enough already.

And if the bulimia were induced by the fact that she was screwing around on him and she wanted to look better for her boyfriend, would YOU feel the same way?

This is where you are wrong, because Michael Schiavo is not being charged with any crime. There is no burden of proof on those who may suspect his motives. Rather, the burden of proof is on those who wish to take Terri's life--and they have not proved beyond a reasonable doubt, that either: 1) she is in PVS, or 2) that she would wish to be killed.

No, it HAS been proved beyond a reasonable doubt, just not beyond unreasonable doubt.

Says you. But not every court that has been presented the issue over the last 15 years. Why do you think you are in a better position to judge than each of the courts that has heard the evidence?
