i just think its f'ed up they give out addresses...i know these poeople r WRONG...but that is too...the general area should be good enough...and only a small % of them are child molesters

I agree somewhat, peachy.

I think that people convicted of, say, statutory rape(assuming the age gap is not huge), should not be put in the same category as nonconsensual rape or child molestation.

But people who commit sexual assaults on adults are just as dangerous as child molesters, and we should have the right to know where they are living.

As far as I'm concerned, when you commit crimes like this, you lose a lot of privacy rights. The right of the community to have public safety trumps them.

The unique emotional damage that sexual crimes can inflict on victims is staggering indeed. This is what makes these kinds of crimes different from say, robbery.

They do put up their pics most of the time.

Some people are more concerned with the privacy rights of child molesters and rapists than with the safety of kids and women.

There's an alternative. We could just keep them in jail for their entire lives. But I think they'd rather be out in the community, even with all of the restrictions.

But all of the girls gave matching accounts, saying they were too frightened to run, yell for help or take action to stop Hayward, who is muscular, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 250 pounds. At the time, the 14-year-old weighed 80 pounds and the 15-year-old about 112.

We got a notice about a level 3 sex offender moving into our neighborhood in the mail about 3 months ago. Had a picture and a little profile of him and everything, three words man...

Man. There's loads in my neighborhood. Including one charged with 'oral copulation'. Why do cops always use big words when a much smaller one would do?
