vpip 4? HE MUST HAVE THE ACES! =P But, Id probably just call down in this spot. As you played it sure, fold to a 3bet is good.

Ok, I fixed it(VPIP=44). Do you prefer calling down to raising and folding to a 3-bet on the turn? I rarely use this move because of my obsession with going to showdown.

I think in such a small pot calling down is much better. If he's bluffing let him keep making this large mistake. You don't really mind that he has outs.

I bet the flop

sisnce you didnt, i fold to his turn bet. You are either drawing dead (or damn near), or he is drawing to 8 outs (unless he has a 2 in his hand, which is very unlikely). The pot is 2BB, in this spot, Its not worth it.

If I got 3 bet here, I would have capped, heh.

I usually bet the flop, but my table image was poor(I should have noted this).

I think folding to the turn bet is a bad idea. I will win >40% of the time if I calldown 2 bets.

I agree that this is a routine calldown because the pot is small.

I should have noted I think this flop is worth a bet even with a poor image, unless SB is the type who literally never folds to a flop bet HU.

you are assuming that if you call here and he doesnt hit, he will fire the river again? Is this true? Tyically the player who isnt aggresive enough to autobet this flop, isnt aggresive enough to put one more bet in on the river, unless he has something

So if he wont bluff on the river, you have to be ahead a much higher percentage of the time. Remember, even If he's behind, hes going to outdraw you 20% of the time.

You're forgetting that if Jeff is ahead and our villain misses on the river, Jeff wins the pot, bluff or no bluff!

I'd have taken a shot on the flop as well.

I don't even really like taking a shot here all that often with this sort of hand because in effect it is just a bluff but other then that I think you pretty much have to fold to the 3-bet.

I probably bet any HU flop when my opponent checks to me. At least, until he shows me the ability to CR.
