buying a dell 9300 laptop and I have some questions...

I am planning on using two monitors, and I have read conflicting advice. If I buy the 128 video card will i be able to run both at 1600x1200 resolution without problems...or will the 64 do me just fine? Also, I am currently running 1020 x 760, so do I need to go more than 1600x1200 to eliminate overlap?

...is it worth upgrading from the processor from the 1.6mto the 1.73m...

...what is the difference between the 60gb and the 60gb 7200rpm? Is it enough to pay 120 bucks?

How do people like their 9300's...can I playing 8 tables, listen to itunes, run pokertracker and playerview on two seperate monitors at the same time without any lag? Cause thats what I'm going for...

i only have one real question left after doing some research...if i get the wsuxga screen and only 64mb video card, can I still use 1900x1200 over two monitors??

yes! Plus your lappy screen has nothing to do with your second monitor.

Have you called Dell and asked them? I have an 8600 with the WUXGA and the 128 mb video card. I can't run dual monitors.

ok last question from the computer illiterate...i swear!

If I go with the 64mb to run 1600x1200 over two screens, then can I update this at a later time to 256? I have no idea about computer stuff so sorry if these are lame/dumb questions...

..thanks guys. after this i swear i'll head back to small stakes

It's pretty difficult to replace the graphics card in a laptop so the answer to your question is most likely no. It is easy to replace RAM. This is probably where your mix up is. If you only get 256mb of RAM, you can easily upgrade later to 512mb or 1gig.
