3rd level in the UB $30 6max table tourney. UTG has been pretty aggressive buying pots. Only showed down a couple of times and won, but not powerhouse hands.

What is your play here?

SB: t1265
BB: 2310
UTG t2075
HERO: t1255
CO: t1625
BUTTON: t1625

Hero has AcKc

Preflop: UTG raises to 200; HERO calls; everyone else folds

Flop: 2d 2s Jh

UTG is all in.

Your move?

How much is the BB?
I'd reraise pf, calling is 1/6 of your stack.

We need to know the blinds, but..

your call PF makes baby jesus cry. You need to push here.

personally i just give him credit for having me beat and move on to the next hand.it's still early in the tourney,so why let ak bust you out? if you reraise here you pretty much make yourself pot committed and with no flop, you're most likely wasting $30(real money) on ak.i guess if i reraise here it's all in,and hope i win the coin toss,or get a fold.
utg is the 1 position i like to respect a raise from myself and not push, especially early in a tourney, mid to late tourney i'd suspect a blind steal more, but not many are looking to blind steal at 15/30 blinds.(i think that was the blind structure you mentioned) no matter what read i had on him,i'd still think it's early and i have lots of time to build a nice stack.you guys might really frown on this, but i'm more then capable of folding ak to a big raise preflop,or just limping with it in the first hour of play,i just feel ak's real value comes into play when the blind structure goes up,or short handed.

I reluctantly fold, knowing I should have been all-in preflop.

I fold...

with the blinds at this level his raise is very odd, hes either a moron and overbetting AA or KK or he has no business raising in the first place. Perhaps his push on the flop was read based - do you often cold call with AK or with any 2 overs - have you done this in the past when playing with him? I would put you 2 overs here if you are a tight/solid player and i know you would push with 99+, the flop is perfect for him. Personally I put him on either AJ or QQ+, although given your read I may be giving him too much credit. It is 6 handed so A2s is possible.

as a tangent - nice avatar, what techniques of judo do study?

fold...

is there anyone here that thinks pushing PF is NOT the best play?

Fold preflop...err allin preflop.

Postflop, fold after smooth call preflop.

My two cents.

thanks for the feedback.

I called. He showed Ks8c. Turn: 2h; River: 8h. I am done.

push PF, you really cant call on this flop unless you have seen him doing this before with absolutely nothing.
