No, you're not a loathsome person. But you're one of the last persons I'd expect to have any fun with. As for the jokes, well, you make them a whole lot easier by overreacting to goodnaturedly ribbing, which has been consistent throughout. If it's not funny to anyone else I really don't care, because it's funny to me to envision the tears streaming from your eyes.
