Table is loose and pre-flop raiser has 30% PFR after 5 hands. Stick around or bail?

I fold this preflop.

But since you have already limped, call this raise. If you don't hit the flop hard(strong draw, 2 pair or better) check/fold.

Don't post a read if it's "30% PFR over 5 hands." That's not a read.

Folding this is terrible. The limp PF may be debatable, but whatever, I think it's fine -- as long as you don't consider folding to a later raise.

Table is loose - so normally there are limpers behind him, there's not much PF raising, and the pot has 4+ other players. I think a case can be made for limping this any day of the week from any position.

This is micro remember, flush draws alone will pay for this limp in EP /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Whatever you do at this point, don't fold it for one more bet.

Is there more to this hand? Seems kinda silly to post just a preflop decision.

Very very easy call.

Sorry, it's 50 hands, not 5. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

And let's say only a flush draw comes and 1 player drops? Is this still an easy call? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Dude if his PFR is 30% over 50 hands then what are you worried about?

You'll be getting 5-1 to see the flop with what's most likely the best hand. If you're not happy with that then why did you call in the first place?

This hand doesn't have to be multiway to show a profit.

Hmm, how confident are you that MP3 will call two more bets? My tendency is to 3-bet this, but not if it will lose MP3. I want him along for the ride.

David04

Calls. You want an overcall from MP3, so don't force him to call 2 bets. Unless you think that MP3 will call a 3bet, just call this raise.

If MP3 is super loose I would 3-bet for value if not this looks like a pretty easy call.

What is the villain's WSD and W$SD numbers? If really high, suggesting he's a maniac, I'd be prepared to show this down UI unless MP3 is still in.

30% PFR after 50 hands, damn.

Against a maniac, I'm 3-betting this flop. I'm also very strongly considering showing down Ace-high.

So MP3 is loose/passive/passive. I was peaking at this table a lot and saw him making bad cold calls. CO was 58% WSD. I did a lot of isolation with this guy and won a decent chunk of change. Sometimes almost feel bad for these guys after 2 re-loads, but...

... more from hand.

So I 3-bet on the gamble that MP3 would still come along. I figured if he'd drop, my ace might even stand solid. Unfortunetly he droped... /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hero ?

You said Button is a maniac postflop?

Check/call the turn and the river UI.
