Gotta love the Empire 1+0 daily NL tourney. First place is $79! The blinds have passed me once and I have yet to play a hand. 318 started the tourney with 50 gone in the first 15 minutes. 975 chips. Table 17.

Level 2 now and the blinds have passed me again without a hand played. 945 chips.

I'll be at empire once i locate another 'clean' computer

good luck, i couldn't play serious in a tourney like that, and would push, bluff a lot sorta like the party point freerolls

if i had a sizeable stack(prob min 3x the ave) at the break I might start playing serious

Something to do on a friday afternoon. Still level 2, the blinds have passed again, and I'm card dead. 895 chips. 1/3 of the field gone in the first 35 minutes.

Still at level 3, I'm in the BB and get J6 offsuit. No raise and the flop is 9JJ (2 diamonds). I check, chip leader bets, 2 calls, I go all-in, chip leader folds, button calls, SB folds. Button has Q10 diamonds, turn is 5 diamonds, river is 6 giving me the boat. Whew! 1725 chips with 169 players left.

We've hit the first break and I'm now at table 16. 1725 chips, 154 out of 318 remain.

I've been moved to table 12 and away from the approaching blinds into the CO! Still 1725 chips with 148 remaining.

Wow! What a hand! I'm dealt 88 in the CO. I call, button raises to 400, MP calls, I call. Flop is 2 8 2. MP bets big, I go all-in, button calls all-in, MP calls all-in. turn is 10, river is K. I lose to 10 10 from MP. Button had 99. Wow, I WOULD have trippled up to chip lead! Instead, its back to 2/4.

Yeah that sucked, literally it was the first hand I watched and the chaos enfolded. I may have folded to Button's pre-flop raise when you couldn't get it heads up between you two.

You have inspired me. I am playing a cheesy $3 buy-in limit HE tourney on PS...and my set of 8s just got crushed by a gutshot str8. Go zu.

In a "real" tourney, I probably would have in that situation. But, eh, its a dolla!

Hi Zulu,
I read your post too late, but I can't find the tourny anyway. I'm looking under Empire Tournament menu and only see one running which is a $5+1 with 60 players, number 775. I am looking in the right place. I'd just like to know for future reference and to take a look at how it's going for the rest of the field. =TomBk

Zero rake is cool.

Fast blind levels is not cool.

Good luck, though!

Make sure you un-click the "show registering" box once a tourney starts if you want to find it on the list.
