View Full Version : Humorous Words (slang or otherwise)

Today I was in a bar watching the end of the NCAA games, and someone on Oklahoma State hit a key 3 point shot in the final minutes of the game. I hear random cheers and clapping in the bar, then out of nowhere I hear an emphatic BOO-YAH! from one of the bar's patrons.

Personally I think this word is hilarious when used in this context of genuine human emotion (bonus points for doing a fist pump while shouting it), and not when used by Stuart Scott or any of those posers. Nowadays I'd feel lucky to hear five legit 'boo-yah's per year.

What are some other funny words that you don't hear often?

Stretchn*ts, used as a name replacement:

"Hey, Stretchn*ts, where'd you get those parachute pants? I'm about to take the DeLorean back to '91 and I figure I should be in style."

Also, f***-load and s***-ton, as in "there are five f***-loads in a metric s***-ton."

Walrus.

I think i love it from that comedy routine I heard on Dr. Katz back in the day. Just walk up to a buddy, stare at him, and repeat it until they can't stop laughing.

Actually hearing an old person say whippersnapper is pretty hilarious.

Someone I work with used the word doppleganger (I think that's what is was) on Tuesday.

I still love it when someone refers to something good as tits. This might be common or uncommon depend on the crowd you hang out with.

My brother and I used to refer to bowel movements as "pushing cake". I said it in front of my boss and she started laughing so hard she tripped and fell on her face.

I like to call people fucktard. As in: HEY YOU FUCKTARD, RESPECT MAH AUTHORITAH! Then I smack them in the head with a 9-iron.

Ah, Redonkulous is a word often used in my department.

When one is impressed by an event and/or a person's Mad Skillz, one can use the word "Savage".

Example: That foosball pull-shot of yours is ownagely Savage.

Insult words include:
Sea-donkey
Gutter-pig

An uncommon word I used to use is:
Assbeef

And if you are a male victim of rape to some, you are an:
Assmeatvendor
