Something I've noticed a lot in playing is how often pocket pairs show up against pocket pairs. In thinking about it, it seems to make sense that if I have a pocket pairs, the odds of someone else having pocket pairs goes up. When two people have pocket pairs, the odds of a third having them go up even more. Does anyone know if this is right?

sounds right to me, but its by a very miniscule amount. you arent noticing the effects of bayes theorem in these instances, its merely your imagination.

btw, anybody knows when I have KK, the odds of somebody in a full table have AA?

The odds that the person on your right has AA is (4*3)/(50*49)=1 in 204. Everybody has an equal chance of having AA so say you have 8 oppenents. Then somebody has AA 1 in 25.5 times. Ignoring the remote possibility that two people have AA.

seems like it happens a lot more than the odds

One session I capped with pocket kings twice and both times the 3-better had pocket aces. You probably don't remember the times you had KK and nobody had AA.
