I like how I played this, just want to see what others think. also going to post results and award the 5 bucks in the river game

I hate being out of position. I would bet into MP2 rather than go for check raise. I'd put him on top pair and openended str8 draw and be afraid of him checking behind me. His bet though seems like he is on a draw. i would raise to $60-$70.

What's he likely to have called that raise with preflop? J/10? Pocket 8s, 10s or Js? Either one is a distinct possibility. So are queens, which you are way ahead of.

It's tough, but I'd have thrown all my money in on this hand, too.

Not a suggestion just a thought I had while reading...


Anybody think this might be a good spot to overbet the pot and look as if you are on a steal.....

I might throw 10-15 in there and hope someone gets frisky with a limped QQ or JJ or 1010...AK...(not that they have QQ or AK alot of times here but its a possibilty.)

Worst case scenario you take it down or build a large pot with KK. Doesnt seem SO bad to me.
