Too much flop? Too much turn? Too little river?

I think villain has a good queen often enough for this to be the right line, although I think we can probably milk an extra $5-10 out of him on the river.

Yeah...You let him get away a bit there at the end...

I might have bumped it to 1.50 PF also.

pf raise a little too weak; connectors/pairs can sneak in too easily here

flop raise a little too big imo for how you played it

turn/river good all things considered

I was going to say check behind on the river. His weird flop bet and check-call on the turn makes me suspicous. I would hate to get check-raised on that river. The rest of the hand, I'm playing the same.

what other kinds of hands are going to enter the pot with us? we don't want to just take down the blinds, we'd like some action. in my mind, 4xBB is fine, maybe 5-6xBB if we're feeling frisky

once KQ or any pair or any cheese comes in behind all others are coming behind

there's already 2.4 bbs in the pot and your mentality should be winning that money first and forcing others to make an actual decision about whether or not they want to play the hand

at 4bbs it's not a decision at all

Thanks for the feedback. I've read in other posts that people like to adjust their raise for the number of limpers; I'm going to start doing that.

Villain showed Jd8d for three 8s and MHING.

But given the remarks of others, I don't think I play it too much differently next time. I played him like he was on a flush draw, and he was; he just got lucky.
