PartyPoker $200 SNG

Anyone play these things? I've played about 25-30 of them and I've only won 8. I've cashed in 13 of them but I still feel I find no real consistency in them. A lot of times, I feel like I'm waiting for a big hand to push with when the blinds get high. A lot of it feels like luck as well (i.e. hoping your pocket pair holds up against AK or your AQ will hold up against KJ). Many of the players here seem so tight they just wait for the blinds to raise up and pick a spot to gamble. Can anyone help me? I want to raise my win% in these to around 50% if possible. Thanks.
