Decent $5/10 table. One half good player, the SB in this hand, who is tight-ish and not overly aggressive.

A/images/graemlins/club.gifQ/images/graemlins/club.gif in MP. Folded to me, I raise, folded to SB who calls, BB folds. Most unusual action for this table. Ahem.

Flop: K/images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif. SB bets.

What's my plan?

Guy.

I can spew chips with Ace high with the best of them, but it's hard to come up with a worse flop for AQc. Fold now, get feisty later.

Folding sounds good to me too.

Thanks chaps.

I folded and felt weak, hence the post. Seems like something I ought to have been more sure of.

I've raised the flop here in similar situations and gotten an immediate fold, but I don't know that it works often enough to make a profit. If SB is passive you might be able to check-down and win it with A-high if a heart doesn't hit.

I think people like bluffing at monotone flops, but just as often they have one heart or a king, and calling down to see which one it is can be boku painful.
