I have been limping with AQ in early or mid-position, which I am beginning to believe has value beyond saving a few chips. At $10 + $1, almost nobody limps with AK. So if I limp with AQ and nobody raises me, then I feel confident going into the flop that I have the top kicker with an Ace. If I had raised with AQ and had gotten a caller, I would be less confident that I had top kicker.

I've won some large pots with this (I aggressively bet the flop when an Ace comes), and have yet to be trapped.

Any thoughts on that?
