Supertight 5+1's?

Today before work i played in three 5+1 tourneys. In two of them we went up three blind levels before we eliminated anyone. most hands never saw a showdown, and those that were were never more that three-handed. I finished second in both because all I had to do is bet a little and everyone would fold to me. but those tourneys lasted forever. Very odd.

Time of day. These things are tighter in the morning. Daytime SNGs/MTTs are tighter, maybe more sober players, retirees, and women. I don't find they are particularly more difficult though (although this may be different at $30+ buyin where you may have ahigher percentage of pros during the day). Rock play does not work so well in no limit.
