2 way hands

I think I pay off way too much when I have a good 2 way hand on the river. How do you guys usually play this? I'm going to start following a rule:
If by the river in a multiway pot I don't have either the nuts one way or a 2 way hand that has at least the 2nd nuts one way I'm folding.

How do you guys approach these hands?

Hard to say without a specific hand, but I agree in general with that. In multiway pots its just too likely someone has the nuts, particularly for low.
