pot's too big, you have to call, I think he might just have a naked 8 here. You've only gotta be right like 15% of the time here.

raise the turn for mad value, you are good soooo often here. mp 3-betting or just calling helps the play of the rest of the hand and may pre-emptively cutoff any concerns regarding river chicanery.

getting to the river how you did, looks like mp coldcalled the flop with an OESD or slowplayed a 7, although I couldn't easily fold because (regardless of you limited loose preflop read) you turn call looks weak so MP could be raising an 8 on the river not expecting you to overcall or perhaps hoping to fold a better hand (unlikely, but he knows the turn call by you very weak and that sb is almost assuredly speeding without much of a hand). plus 18.5+ to 2 is quite a nice price and your read on MP is not firm and you almost always beat the sb
