I bet this turn and call down a raise nearly every time. This is my typical line for typical reasons(my hand is likely best and there is at least 1 draw possible as well as a handful of 2nd best hands). This is even more likely given that your opponent is loose-passive.

Bet the turn, that was the best possible card for you besides the two other kings.

Two things: 1/2=micros.

Second. If you dont think he has an ace on the flop, why check when the second one comes out? He's twice as likley NOT to have it. If you get raised, oh well.

I love the title. I can't wait to use that in the cardroom.

Guy probably has the J /images/graemlins/spade.gif with another spade/

Or just a pair of 2s. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

This is a loosing proposition. What kind of hands do you think your opponent will raise? A flush draw would probobly pop you on the flop and your opponent would have to be real tricky to bluff raise you on the turn w/out an A or better. Bet and FOLD to a raise.

I don't think calling a loose-passive's turn raise is a great idea here. Loose-passives don't raise draws and they generally don't raise the turn without a hand that beats yours here.

Don't let him have a free river.

I would fold if raised by a passive player.

I wouldn't fold if the player was ever agressive/stealing/tricky, or if I was playing at my casino where I would win $10000 for losing with AAAKK if and when that river A hits.

Explain please. Normally I would ignore this, but coming from a top mid/high poster, I'm confused.

the A is probably the best card that could have fallen for you. bet the turn.

Exactly. Why bet the flop, but not the turn if you're afraid of an ace? The turn ace makes the villian holding an ace even less likely, combined with the fact he didn't raise on the flop.

betting the turn chases away villian who is holding Jxo or an underpair, but it won't chase away villian who is holding 2 spades and it certainly won't scare villian holding Ax. dunno. i'd have bet.

Bet the turn, that was a really nice card. If your opponent is really passive, I'll fold to a raise, otherwise I call down the raise.
