columbine #2 (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&e=2&u=/ap/school_shooting)
looks like at least 8 dead.

I saw a show about school shootings and this expert said that invariably there is always a copycat shooting after a the primary shooting is reported in the news. I guess we'll find if the show was right.

I shoulda been more specific.

We havn't had a highschool massacre for awhile. I'm counting the Minnesota shooting as the trigger point, so to speak. I'm saying we should expect more shootings in the coming weeks.

Boris seemed to of brought up the possibility. I would just like to point out that I haven't taken a stance on the copycat thing, I just commented on the amount of time.

yeah, there was a Argentina school shooting earlier this year. But I'm surprised that this school shooting didn't get as much coverage as Columbine. I wonder if it's because it was a Indian school. just my thoughts, but it may have been on the news but no breaking news alerts.

columbine was in a white suburb and this was on an indian reservation. this will get nowhere near as much press or attention as columbine got.

Heart is with the victims and families... tragedy and This probably won't get half the attention that columbine did...

most school shootings since columbine haven't received as much coverage...a day on headline news maybe...pretty sad
