Villain is 35/11 over 35 hands and in love with the stop and go. The 2nd happened right before the KK hand. Comments on action appreciated, especially the river.

Call the 3-bet on the river in the first hand.

I'd just call the three bet on the river here as well. Not every made flush immediately pushes on the street that it's made. Sometimes people will let you see another card to try and get you to improve.

I fold the second hand at the flop. If you want to play speculative hands from the button well, this means getting out cheaply when the situation calls for it. This flop and bet are clear indicators to fold this hand to me since you're not gonna win unimproved and the pot is small.

Just call the 3-bet on the first hand. He could have AQ there if he's a real winner, but generally that means a hand that you can't beat.

NOTE: Of the 3 hands that players are most likely going to LRR, AA, KK and QQ, you are now behind two and tied with one. That Q isnt a great river, IMO.

Hand 2: why raise the flop? The pot is 5 sb. You have 1 overcard and a backdoor 1 card nut flush draw.

If he has a draw, then your a little better than even money. If he has hit a pair, your a dog to a huge dog, depending on the pair.

Get out now.

Sweet, just located a leak in my game. I read the hand (A9) and said, "that's probably how I would've played it." Then I read your post and evaluated pot size and the board and realized how stupid the play was. I've been making it regularly.

Good post, glad I read it.

yeah in retrospect, 3 betting the river seems correct.

ishmael, do you really put people only on QQ,KK, and AA when they limp reraise. In my experience, the average party 2/4er will do this with a much wider range of hands.
