dumb question, but it always helps to ask. i am finally getting somethign for my living room for people to sit on. i dont want a couch as i dont even know how long i will be living here. so i will get a versatile futon. any good places i should check out online? where can i get spiderman sheets? thanks

They really aren't. Oh, they look it. But you basically get either a sucky couch or a sucky bed, depending on how you decide to use it. Someone crashing on it for more than one day will suck as it's annoying to re-task them.

Fuck futons.

Check out the Ikea sofa beds, which are pretty nice and relatively cheap. They are basically sofas that fold down flat to form a bed and are pretty comfy.

But for the love of god don't get a futon.

I had one all through college. I ended up putting a feather mattress on it to try to soften it up. They are not the most comfortable things in the world, but they do work. You might try here
