Obviously I'm beat, but did I play this low flush too aggressively? Do the earlier calls mean anything?

I don't see myself folding my flush for one more bet on the river.

The flop and turn are both 100% standard. There's really no such thing as playing a flopped flush too aggressively.

I don't understand the point of betting the river. You're not getting called by anything you can beat.

I'd check-call this river, and try not to throw something against the wall.

So was my play on every street better than the guy with the K /images/graemlins/spade.gif4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif?
I think it was, am I way off base? If I flopped the nut flush with position, I am raising.
But looking back, did I have a stronger draw with the str8 flush draw?

Yes, the guy who was waiting until the river to bet his nut flush is an idiot. And not only because you had a redraw to the straight flush.

Sorry, just trying to improve. /images/graemlins/confused.gif
I wish there was a nano limit forum, I feel like some of these hands are a waste of your time.

Good.

You should have lost a lot more money on this hand.

nah dude, I was saying your river bet wasnt awful. they'll call with lots of no spade hands. perhaps a river bet is better heads up, but there are certainly merits to betting. I think checking and calling one is better, but I was just saying people will in fact will call with worse stuff there. Heads up it's a bet I think. the /images/graemlins/confused.gif was directed towards the not getting called by hands I beat statement /images/graemlins/smile.gif

sorry for the confusion /images/graemlins/smile.gif
