i always seem to hit my big hands from early position. i often see people just calling a flop 3bet in hopes of check raising the turn, but in all honesty, that only nets you one extra SB. it felt right to just come out swinging at every chance, unless i got raised or capped on the turn, at which case i'd probably have to slow down in fear of a bigger set.

Well played, what would be your line if another A fell?

Or lets make it harder, the T /images/graemlins/diamond.gif (on the river) ?

well, that would give me a full house, and if i was up against a better set, i'm now up against a better full house, so if i slowed down that would be changing my read. i put him on a big ace, which is why it's great to flop a set when an ace falls as well because people love playing any ace at these limits. if the T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif falls on the river, i bet out, if he raises, i'd probably 3bet. but if he caps, i'm not very happy.

in that example youre not worried about a better set, you are worried about AT.

and if another ten fell i would bet still...AT, AA/AJ, (both unlikely from turn call) beat you, AK AQ and all the other hands he raises pf with might pay you off....id probably just call a reraise though
