Definitely is not a difficult word to spell. It is definitely not spelled "definately" or "definetly."

Good post, really. I feel like I'm in a Down Syndrome school's English class sometimes on OOT.

I'm not really a grammar Nazi or anything, but what percentage of the time would you say that word gets misspelled on here? 60%? It seems like it is misspelled more often than any other word. This is suprising to me, because I doubt many people would misspell "definite." Who knows.

what's up with people hating on people who misspell words and use incorrect grammar?
IMO if you know how to correct him, communication was a success and that's all that matters eh?
but if it's so bad you can't understand him, only then should you be allowed to get your panties in a bunch
