he covered alright guy from Songs from the Daily Planet (i think that is the name of the cd).

yeah that was like 10 years ago.

Really? I've never that version (thank God).

I know Mark Chesnut covered one also that he had a pretty big hit with. I think it was 'Trouble'.

Yes. East Nashville Skyline is a great great album. Perfect combo of funny and serious. He is a really talented songwriter. People that have a problem with "country" music should listen to this. It really is really solid musically (even if there is a little "twang")

Todd Snider is the best unknown musician out there. Also, he is really great live. A must see if you ever have the chance.

That's a good one, but you should really check out some of his other stuff also.
