Kienu Reeves and a bus full of passengers on a bus that can't go below 50 MPH or it will explode. Also, there is a gap in the highway that the bus has to jump. Also there is a gap in the track to the subway they are riding, the breaks broke.

So bad that half the cast killed themselves within a year of release. So bad that even Joel and the bots could make it worthwhile. So bad that no one on the cast was paid (the little girl got a new bike and the dog got a bag of dog food). So bad you will not believe it until you see it.

Life is too short to watch bad movies. If it stinks, I throw in the towel about 15-20 minutes in.

There are three exceptions, however:

A friend of mine who lives in Stoneham, MA got cast in three different movies that were shot in Boston. I sat through all three of these films, looking for him. He was an extra in "Second Sight", and was onscreen for less than a second. He had speaking roles in "Mrs Winterborn" and "Celtic Pride", and appeared in the films' credits--but I missed him. Either he got cut out, or I was catatonic.

And there was no way I was going to sit through any of those films again. Each was worse than the one before. I dare any of you to sit through a romance that stars Ricky Lake and Brendon Frasier.

Tears for the sun
It's horrible on so many levels it's close to unfathomable.

and at a distant second-worst The Recruit.

movies that I have sat through, and later regretted...

Battlefield Earth ... anyone actually enjoy this?
Mission Impossible ... 2 hours of my life I would like back.
Monkeybone ... what was Brenden Frasier thinking.

I've only seen a few of those, but none of the ones I've seen has had the racist white-mans-burden kinda bullshit that's in Tears. None of them has had the amazingly bad taste of turning war into stylized balet. Perhaps the acting is better in Tears, though. But that makes it even more tasteless in my book.

By Decade:

60's: Manos the Hands of Fate (of MST3K fame)
70's: Mitchell starring Joe Don Baker (again of MST3K fame...Joel and the Bots do a brilliant hatchet job on this one. Rumor has it JDB still holds a grudge for being portrayed as a fat, lazy, alcoholic slob detective)
80's: Howard the Duck
90's: Striptease (aside from the nice shots Demi Moore this was the most atrocious concoction of the decade
00's: Kate and Leopold starring Meg Ryan (It's so hard to find love when your a successful mid-30's career woman. I think I'll travel back in time!)

The Recruit was not bad, at all. We are talking WORST movies here folks, a lot of these are decent films that you personally didn't like, Van Dam has to be tied to any of the movies seriously listed here, haha.

lol-

Keanu revee's exgirlfriend goea on a cruise with some guy (another cop) the boat is hijacked by a computer nerd, who steals diamonds, and programs the ships computer to crash into an oil tanker to cover the evidence. Going at a grand total of 18 knots this adventure is billed as "speed 2" (cruise control).

After narrowly missing the oil tanker thanks to some extremely impossible stunts by keanu jr, the boat is now headed toward a local and very crowde dock. they splinter many boats along the way (but no innocents are hurt) and the boat crashes into the dock. The guy with abad fake australian accent counts down their speed, and shakes back and forth as if he really is slamming into the dock on the boat. A small dog is narrowly saved when the boat stops just in time.

Hero cop goes after girlfriend who was taken by the evil villan. Evil villan ends up on a small plane which crfashes into said oil tanker in delicious poetic justice. Also a bit part is played by the guy hwos care was requesitioned by keanu in the first.

2nd worst movie ever.

What about Speed 2? Clearly worse than the original.

MITCHELL!

Everyone should see the MST3K version after having a six-pack of their favorite adult beverage.

Worst/funniest movie I've ever seen.

Obviously you have never seen Jaws IV

[/ QUOTE ]
"Jaws: The Revenge" was even worse.

As Roger Ebert wrote, "What shark wouldn't want revenge against the survivors of the men who killed it?"

(BTW, I think Jaws IV and Jaws the Revenge are the same movie)
