Any thoughts on these? Anything you'd have done differently? I feel like I"m playing this tourney better than I used to, but just some bad luck today.

I was at around 8k closing in on the 2nd break before these two hands, and I didn't even make the break.. the second one might have been a bit of tilt, but the blinds were going up again soon...

I don't see how those could have been played any differently, you had your money in as huge favorite both times....bad luck and move on to the next tourney

AKs is a slight, coinflippy dog to TT, but it doesn't matter, the money's still going in preflop. Sometimes you just don't win those coinflips or those bigger-than-two-to-one shots. So it goes.

EDIT: If you read my original response, forget about it. Write it off as "bad mood".

Happy birthday.

First hand is just bad luck, the second one is just a coin flip you lost. You played it fine.

I was going back thinking about the second one, though.. what if i had just called his raise preflop, then pushed when the ace flopped.. Have to wonder if it would have made him lay his second best hand down at that point...

You went all-in when you called his push pre-flop.
