I will hardly ever give an online player the K here, so it really just comes down to how often you are outkicked (pretty often usually against most) and how often he might fold if you moved in on the flop (I have no clue since I don't know the player).

Yeah, I was thinking about that possibility, but you can't do that to a buddy unless A) you talk about it first or B) you really have a monster or C) Your buddy can afford to fold and not be in a disadvantaged position.

I think in this case, Mike wasn't in a great position with just the avg chip stack and 15% of his chips in the pot.

sorry bugs, that was tough. its hard to say where you should have found a spot, but I think I would have open pushed from the SB into that stack at some point and prayed he didnt have a hand. Once you were down to 16 or so its brutal trying to find a spot since a raiser might be PCed against your push. Tough game, you'll get em next time. You played damn well before that.

I had QQ. Was about 95% sure I had the lead. Gave it a possibility you'd push there with KK but not with AA. COnsidering your chip position at the time I figured you'd milk the AA.

I decided to fold because I gave it a good chance you had AK. While you couldn't bust me, I was in something like 3rd at the time and I really didn't want to drop half my stack.

It ended up being a poor decision. I had a real fight to win the ticket at the end. But at the time it just didn't seem worth the risk.

You can pick any hand and push, even with a raise in front of you. Only AA and KK are calling you if you have enough chips to hurt them. Even if you win that last hand, I think you're still the short stack, you just can't wait that long.

7 handed i think you have to open raise with A7 in #22. Also, I think a case could be made for going over the top with A9 against MLG in #12.

i agree. considering how often MLG was opening pots combined with the fact that he is laying down anything but aces, kings, or AK likely in hand 12 means that this move is +EV. If MLG calls and loses he has only about 16K in chips left so he has to be very tight about calling any reraise.

Yeah, I remember watching how the big stack was playing and thinking to myself that I would hate to have him behind me.

Gotta push over me in 12. I dont have my HH, but there was only 1 out of 3 times when I had a hand, and it was AK. I remember thinking that AK wasn't a clear call in that spot, so you had a lot of FE even if I had a hand as opposed to K10, or A7 which were the other 2.

I like #14 and #18. Also I know how you feel, last year I finished 6th in a sat that sent 4 to the big show. I didn't play for a week I was so sick about it. You are 10x the player I am though so I'm sure you'll be fine. Nice job! Get em next time.

yeah, your estimate of fe is off because i think you havent' thought enough bout your opponent being an intelligent player who is playing a satellite. it makes many -chip EV moves the right ones, that in a structured payout tournament for cash, would not be.

I would have definitely played back at Mike on hand 12 with the A9. He had consistently been raising your blind and he would have needed a big hand to call there as you still had enough chips to cripple him.

I do agree you were in a horrible spot with the Big stack 2 to your left knowing he had chips to call your push leaving you very lttle opportunities to steal blinds which ultimately killed you.
