Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

UTG is an aggreessive player with 18/18 over 50 hands. he is aggressive postflop as well
I choose an aggressive approach preflop as BB was fairly tight... How about postflop?

In order to further myself and to get one step closer to playing in the imfamous 15-30 I have decided to leave 3-6 and 5-10 full and for the next couple of months I will instead play 5-10 SH...

Preflop: Hero is SB with 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (9 SB) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, BB folds, UTG calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG caps</font>, Hero calls.

River: (13.50 BB) A/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 17.50 BB

I prolly fold PF, if I didnt, I would have played the rest of the hand the same. Tho I think I prolly would have just check called the river, you know hes betting it if you check, and I'm not confident enough in my hand that I don't mind getting raised. Even if hes super aggresive, that board on the turn has to be somewhat scary, considering you 3 bet PF, unless hes super aggro I dont see 2 pair or AA KK, giving you that much action.

Hm, generally I don't like to play small pockets against a raiser unless I'm getting 5:1 on my money, but that could be a huge leak in my game, I dunno I'm just stating how I play it.

Other than that, I play the flop and turn the same, and I think I go into check call on the river, expecting to lose to JK.

Looks like KJ so maybe you should slow down after the turn raise?
I'm not new to this. I'm nobody in 5/10. (Only playing 1/2...)

I would also fold preflop. I like that you 3 bet PF instead of calling. The rest of the hand is fine, I think. The river bet is close - I might slow down to his turn cap also. What hands would he have played this way? KJ, 99, TT, QQ all beat you. J8 is unlikely. Is he aggressive enough to overplay KQ or AQ this way? Maybe QT. . .in any case, I think he has you beat often enough to check/call.

I agree that I should have check-called the river...
