Im a UConn student, a huge UConn fan, and was a supporter of the idea that the big east was the best conference, up and down.

With BC, Cuse, and UConn all playing pretty weak and getting knocked out early, I think there is no question that the conference power was misjudged by most of the media.

I could chalk it up to UConn playing a bad game, but facing the facts, UConn plays games like that all throughout the season.

Im now cheering for Vermont and Bucknell, but I doubt either will get into the sweet 16. Boo.

we still have WVU and Nova at least.

Neither a threat to make the final 4 though. Bad year for the Big East. I'm down after UConn lost too... didn't go there but have lived in CT all my life. Maybe next year if nobody leaves for the NBA, and the refs call blatant offensive fouls.

Why don't you just jump on the Washington bandwagon? There's still a lot of room.

Herb Sendek saves his job for another year. He has had more stays of execution than a typical California death row inmate.

Not only that, if Nova beats Florida with what's-his-name injured, State has a chance to be the team Carolina bends over in the Elite 8.
