I'll be at Foxwoods for 4+ days starting Thursday morning. I expect I'll be playing mostly 20-40 hold 'em. But, I might occassionally play a smaller game if there are friends at the table.

I've already got a roommate for Friday and Saturday night (at the Grand Pequot). But, if anybody wants to share a room on Thursday or Sunday night, I can help out (preferably somebody I already know- even if I only know them on the forums). My room rate is cheap by Foxwoods standards- about $130/night including all taxes.

I wish I could go, but am completely unable this year.

The best of luck to you, Dynasty! Bring home the gold for us!

Hi Dynasty,

I will be there Thursday-Sunday too, playing 20/40. Are you playing in the chess tournament as well?

I got my chess fix in yesterday at the Boyslton Chess Club (I'll post a game tomorrow in Other Topics). So, I seriously doubt I'll be playing in the chess tournament.

What are you talking about? What's going on (other than D's visit) between 3/24-3/28?

Also, Dynasty: The motto is "Meet me at Foxwoods," not "See me at Foxwoods," if that's what you were going for.

I live like a block away from the BCC.

I know he is a cash game player, but I'm just wishing him good luck. Or is that not allowed anymore? LOL /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Cash game players are usually the most talented, yet least recognized poker players.

OK--I guess I've never heard "bring home the gold" used to mean generic "good luck." I've only heard it used to mean "win first place."

Who knows about me...I often say things that make no sense. One day I was playing in a NLHE tourney in Laughlin and someone asked me about my Stud tourneys. I said something about "cutting my teeth in Stud" and the guy said he'd never heard of that expression. I told him it must be because he is younger than me, maybe it's an old saying. Then the eight senior citizens at the table all proclaimed that they had never heard the "cutting my teeth..." expression. Go figure!

It appears I've rented out the room for Thursday night. Anybody interested in Sunday night?
