I lost a live 3/6 holdem hand with quads. I had 3h3c. The flop was 3d 3s 5d. The turn 2d. My opponent had Ad4d.

We went 10 bets on the river, and I lost $100 on that hand. Should I have stopped earlier? It took me a while to figure out that I did not have the nuts.

That sucks....I can't say for sure, but I would say around 10 or so bets is when I would pause, ask him if he had a straight flush, throw in one more raise just in case, and call it down

10 bets is fine. He's gonna have a full house really often here. After a while you got to stop, but I don't think 10 is too much.
