I am curious to know what level everyone plays at.

1. Buy-in.
2. Number of Hours per week
3. Number of tables
4. Personal Poker Goals
5. Why you enjoy SNG's(if you do /images/graemlins/grin.gif)
6. What site(s) do you play on.

1. Mix of $22s, $33s and $55s.

2. 30 SNGs a day, 210 a week, call it around 30 hrs.

3. 5 tables

4. To make a nice amount this year. Getting to the $109s or hitting the magic $100/hr mark would be great too /images/graemlins/wink.gif

5. I like the all-ins and prefer tournie poker over ring.

6. Eurobet and party.

1: $10+1

2: Not sure -- a few hours at night about 5 days a week

3: Usually just 1, though I've started trying 2 at a time (mixed results so far)

4: Win enough money this year to buy myself a big HDTV for Christmas this year

5: Getting a big stack and bullying the table... it just doesn't get any better than that

6: Stars for now, but I've read enough here to think I should at least try switching to Party. I just need to convice myself that all that money I lost at Party was because A: I didn't understand that trying to play 3-6 on a $150 deposit was stupid and B: I wasn't as good then as I am now. I still get negative feelings whenever I see a Party screenshot. Silly, I know, but it would be something I've have to get over if I made the move.

2. About 20
3. 3-4. I need to upgrade my system. With 4 it starts malfing a lot.
4. It's pretty much half my income now. So my goals are like, to make money. I would really like to go pro full-time. At this point, I'm just making it my 'most of the time job.' Being self-employed, I can do this.
5. Excitement. Level 4 & above. Good times.
6. Party. Remember? I busted you with two pair.

2. I aim for 30 hrs/week when I'm playing
3. 4 tables at a time
4. To play the right way and continue to improve.
5. I enjoy the different gears in STTs. I also love the highly contextual nature of them and the fact that they can be broken down into pseudo-finite blocks of time.
6. Party & Skins

1) $50+$5

2) 4 or 5 SNG's per week. Most of the time I'm playing No-Limit ring games.

3) SNG's one table at a time. In ring games I play 4 tables.

4) Make $100,000 per year online.

5) In ring games I play very tight and controlled. SNG's are a nice change of pace where I can open up my game a bit.

6) SNG's and MTT's on Poker Stars. Ring games on Party Poker.

1. Usually 10+1, sometimes 5+.50 or 20+2. Occassionally 30+3, rarely more.

2. 15 - 20 hours per week overall, mixed between SNG's (25%-50%), NL ring games (usually 50%) and multi table tourneys (the rest of the time). I like variety.

3. Usually 2 tables, 4 at the most.

4. Win the WSOP (hey we all have dreams).
Short of that, build my bankroll to the point where poker can be a profitable part time job rather than just a hobby. I'd like to continue to improve and comfortably move up to higher money levels.

5. I like SNG's because I play my best in tournaments, and they don't take as long as a multi table tourney.

6. I currently play mostly at Full Tilt, which I like a lot. They have very good software, which allows you to easily look at the previous 50 hands played at a table while you are still playing. (I'm working on earning my deposit bonus, it takes a long time there). I also have played at these sites:
Poker Room - which I did well at, but I have had many connection problems there recently,
Ultimate Bet - which I do well at and like a lot,
Party - which I sucked at (I might try playing there again someday),
Poker Stars - which is ok,
Pacific - which is very fishy, but has lousy software and
Royal Vegas - which has the worst customer service I have seen.

2.40+

3. 4, unless i am in a terrible downswing in which i usually drop to 2

4. to become a winning player at the 215s by the end of the year. (longterm) to establish and maintain a working br of $2000. (short term).

5. i like sngs because they are exciting, and for the most part, easier to beat then limit holdem. furthermore, being an athlete my entire life, i enjoy the competition that tournament poker provides.

6. currently at pokernow, will transfer over to eurobet once i am done with my current stretch of 500 sngs, as it is difficult to import tourny summaries into pt from eb and pn no longer supports rakebacks.

[/ QUOTE ]

why is that?

[/ QUOTE ]

Poorly worded on my part. Let's try again:

"To selctively increase my aggression in order to raise my ROI and be a better SnG player."

To elaborate, I feel like the reason my ITM/ROI numbers stay around 40/10 is because I take so few chances until I'm ITM. The plus side of this is that I'll probably always be a slight winner at the 11s. But it also means I'm nearly always short-stacked and will need to get really lucky to take first.

My theory is that selectively agressive play from 5-handed onwards (focusing on blind/stack sizes instead of just cards) will increase my ROI.

4. Work my way up to by consistently beating whatever level I am playing.
5. Seem to have consistenly made money - no limit provides better adrenaline rush and you don't risk losing $100 on a hand like on the No Limit cash games.
6. Mostly Royal Vegas - I have made good money there plus they have 5 seat and 5 seat turbos which can be completed in 15 minutes or less. 4. Goal: ROI over 25% on (500+) $11s, move up to the $22s.
5. Somewhat successful & I like the fast action.
6. Party and UB

1. 11s if I feel like winning, the 22s if I feel like losing.

2. 10-15 hrs/week

3. 4

4. To learn how to beat SNGs wihout being weak/tight. Also, to get my hourly rate at SnGs past where it was with limit ring.

5. I like their bite-sized nature.

6. Empire, with the occasional Stars excursion.

I recently moved up from $11 to $22 and I really can't tell the difference.

Thanks - why don't you just poke me in the eye while you're at it.

Once again, my avatar is apropos...

[/ QUOTE ] I wasn't trying to be a dick I was just wondering what you felt the major differences between the $11's and the $22's were? Aside from ocasionally seeing the same person (who is competent most of the time) at multiple tables the play seems to be similar.

Later,

I know -- sorry, I should've put a smiley, I guess.

Either I'm a marginal player or just got really unlucky (probably a little of both). I lost just about everything I made at the 11s by playing a few dozen 22s. Never won a single one and couldn't manage better than a 25% ITM.

1. $33, some $22 during off hours, and some $55 when I feel my bankroll is too big.
2. Under 20
3. 6 tables
4. Get my 6 tabling ROI up out of the lower teens.
5. A fun game with a solid basic winning strategy, using math to my advantage, the ever challenging / ever changing bubble play, the chance to learn from some of the best posters on 2+2 (thanks all!).
6. Empire + PokerNow (PN soon to be Eurobet /images/graemlins/frown.gif)

I get kinda jumpy when I lose several hundred dollars without even sitting down yet. Party is jerking around all the PokerNow affiliates because of rakeback issues (search the zoo for +pokernow +rakeback). Since my ROI isn't quite Scuba level yet, I need that extra couple percentage points to keep the BR happy. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
