I mean, what the hell was that? And I'm an artsy-fartsy movie lover!

BloodNinja? Funny
Monty Python? Funny
Family Guy? Funny
Better Off Dead? Funny

Napolean Dynamite? Boring, absurd, characters that could not be cared about if they were on fire, annoying, and, most ofall,

NOT FUNNY. Not even a little bit.

Okay, I laughed when Napolean threw the orange at Uncle Rico. But that's it.

Horrible, horrible movie. Why, or how it got made, I have no idea. The filmmakers didn't love their characters, they made fun of them. That's it. I'm sure some of you will reply, "well, if you're stoned, it's freakin' hilarious!"

Yeah, and so are my bowel movements - when I'm stoned.

So what?

There is nothing people like more than talking about how much they dislike Napolean Dynamite, like it puts them in some elite group or something.

No, actually I was looking forward to it since so many people apparently love this movie. I don't care if others like it or hate it, I was just expressing my disappointment and dislike of the movie.

But since you brought it up, does one get a special membership card or something since I'm now in this elite group thing?

I saw it right when it came out and there wasn't any hype, I just figured it would be a regular, stupid movie, so that's why I enjoyed it.

i agree. at first watch, i thought the same thing as everyone else, all the big hype over this small budget flick. you watch it again, you laugh some more, and again and again, laughing at some of the [censored] you didn't like before, it grows on you.

give it another shot, i've seen it too many times to count now.
