doubled up with quad 6s against TT all in on turn but then lost a chunk with 99 against AQ all in preflop

had 9k, limp utg with AQs, 5k stack moves all in, and I call. He has KQ, K hits, and thats where I stand. I've alwasy loved the short stack though.

just moved to table 146, down to 14.5k after an ill timed move on a bad read

10k at the break. was down to 9k, got Kings twice in a row, then was back to 15k. tried to push off a min-raise and i think he was trapping. back down to 9k. stole some blinds before the break.

Was up to 16k but now down to 8.5k after running an idiotic bluff on the river that got called. Ah well. For someone who's had KK cracked twice in the tournament (both fortunately during the rebuy period) i'm glad to be alive. Hopefully karma will come full circle for me.

Doubled up to 25k when SB raises 4x, i re-steal in the BB with Qs8s. I figure I'm totally screwed when he calls. But he has...Qc7c. Flop comes a bunch of babies with two clubs. But I manage to fade the 7s and the clubs, and the 8 kicker plays. Here comes the karma /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I raise 3x to 2400 UTG with QsJs, and get two callers. Flop is Ks 8s 7x. I check planning to c/r all-in with my 2nd nut flush draw. Turn is a low spade. I check again (stupid, heh), and the 2nd caller bets 4k. I make a small checkraise. First limper folds. 2nd limper goes into the tank for about 10 seconds and folds.

I'm up to 36k (but just paid blinds, so now about 34.5)

I push from the SB against a loose EP raiser with ATo. He has 99 and calls. Doh, at least I'm almost a coinflip. Flop: rags. Turn: rags. River: Ace. I'm up to 56.5k

There's a huge stack (148k) at my table who was already big, but then more than doubled up when he hit quad queens against two AK hands. So, no stealing from him, damn.

Edit: Another big one (138k) got moved right to the left of Mr. 148k. Cmon karma.

Reached 3rd break with 70k. Last hand before break I get KJs utg+1. I make 3x BB raise. Somewhat-short stack calls me. Flop is 868, one of my suit. I put him all-in, he folds. I augment my stack by about 9k. Anyone else still in?

Got moved to a new table where stealing seemed more feasible. 2nd hand, I get dealt AA. I limp because I want action and I'm willing to risk it for the action (a couple notes indicated tightness). The guy immediately to my left pushes. I call when it's folded back to me. He has 88.

Flop: Q8Q. I slump in my chair. Turn 7. River Q!!! Then, next hand I try to steal, get called by BB. He checks, I put him all-in, he folds. Now up to 103k. Karma's taking me on the rollercoaster ride tonight /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now 2nd in chips with 214k when MP raises 4x and I call on the button with TT. Flop QT8. He pushes. I gleefully call. He has 88 and doesn't river quads like Lori. Oh boy!

Bluffed off a nice chunk with KQo against TT on rag flop. Down to 152k.

Busted 77th. Three hands were my downfall.

Hand 1: Aggressive SB raises my BB. I reraise with Q8o. He calls. Flop J87, two hearts (I have Qh). He bets about 1/2 pot, and I push. He has 9s6s. Turn 2, River T. So I lose about 65% of my stack there.

Hand 2: I'm in MP with QQ. UTG pushes. I push over the top. I get two more callers. UTG has 33. Caller 1 has 99. Caller 2 has KK. Caller 2 has the biggest stack of them all, so I don't get any side pot love when the board helps nobody.

Hand 3: Very next hand, with blinds rapidly approaching, I tilt-push with 5x BB behind and Ax. Same guy who had KK the previous hand has TT and calls. I get no help. The only play I really regret is this one, as I may have been able to find a better hand to gambool with. Oh well. Stupid tilt.

It was a nice impressive fall from 2nd in chips to out in 77th. Oh well. I guess you gotta win those 60/40 shots and not run into KK to get to the final table in one of these things.
