This is my first post and I just wanted to thank everyone for their wisdom in the numerous threads i have read while trying to get good at this game. Its early in an 11 sng on party, no reads. I limp knowing i'll fold to any raises but with so many limpers i like the suited ace. Anyways, did I over play this hand? After he reraises me I know im outkicked but top pair with the nut flush draw seems to good to drop.

Sorry about the format but the converter sketched out on me.

I'd push the flop, but it could just be my love for top pair/flush draws carrying over from limit holdem.

question:
did you think your pair of aces with that kicker were good here, or do you just like going all-in with 4-flushes?

Even if he knows hes dominated, its not THAT bad.

I really don't like the flop play that you have, you were pushing on two things, one that you have aces, and the other that you have the nut flush draw. First of all, a man raising 100 on the flop would probably have aces as well, and probably with a better kicker than you have. At that stage in the tournament, I'd rather just play conservatively, and not run risky plays like that one. I think the play would be good once the blinds increased, but with the money in the pot by the time the action came to you, it wasn't worth it make a pot-sized reraise that would commit you to the pot on such a weak hand.

I believe you should move allin on the flop instead of raising to 300.

Push the flop. Even if you are dominated, you have a ton of outs with 2 cards to come.
