Dalwhinnie (in alignment with your current tastes)

McCallum is some good [censored]. And dont be cheap and get the 12 or the 15, you have to get the 18.

How can you compare Lagavulin with Oban? Its night and day. Try Dalwhinnie (spelling?), its the best of the bunch. I am also a huge GlenFidich/GlenMorange fan.

PS: I used to own a bar in my former life.... I know scotch and tequillas like the back of my hand.

I realize they are very different, I'm just saying I like both of them. Apples and oranges are different and I like them both too.

Laphroaig
Bowmore

One of the big producers, I think it's Glenmorangie (sp?), makes port and sherry barrel aged scotches. These are both excellent.

I have had the Glenmorangie 12 year and enjoyed it...I'll try some of the others as well.

I'm just waiting for lethalrose to come here and tell everyone that drinking is bad and you shouldn't be doing it. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
