I like how he now has music linked to all of the Player profiles, it shows Barry's sense of humor. Some examples.
Stu Ungar= Purple Haze
Daniel N.= Beat it
Phil Ivey= Pinball Wizard
Howard Lederer= The Logical Song
PHil Hellmuth= Its my Party (and I will cry if I want to_
TJ Cloutier= On the road again.
Ben Affleck= Lifes been good to me so far
Johnny Chan= Kung Fu Fighting
Dan Harrington= Like a Rock

More than once. And if you need a link to Barry Greenstein's site, you are borderline retarded.

Well if you are going to tell people to visit a site you might as well leave a link, even though it is obvious, and Barry's site has been posted more often than the Matador has had Chili.

the site is funny...but not nearly as funny as this thread.

It's a matter of principle.

When a link is to an article buried somewhere in a website, a link is warranted. When it is some general site, it is not. It's not bad to post a link, but it is bad to reply to a post and ask for a link when the site is that easy to find.

but any excuse for haven to re-post that link is def funny.

Perhaps you're right. But it is even worse than that to take someone to task for requesting the link in the first place. I mean, my response may have been a bit of a thread waster, but yours is certainly more so.

Not really, if mine means you won't waste anymore threads in the future.

There are very few things that actually make me "lol" on the internet. The song that pops up for Hellmuth is hilarious. Chan's song is another. And Forrest. And Giang. And Hansen. And Harman.

Great stuff. Barry, you need to take over the programming for poker on TV.

Eh?

I thought he only wrote the time rule.
That's not putting "on" the event, as you say.

The structure was someone else's responsibility, no?

Shouldn't T.J.'s song be "Snake Eyes" by The Alan Parsons Project?

Snake eyes
Seven eleven
Don't let me down boys
Gimme
Snake eyes
Seven eleven
Don't let me down tonight
No don't let me down tonight

Just one minute more, Give me just one minute more
It's gonna be alright, It's gonna be alright

Just one minute more, Then I'll walk right through that door
It's gonna be alright, It's gonna be alright
If ya gimme

Snake eyes
Seven eleven
Don't let me down boys
Snake eyes
Seven eleven
Don't let me down tonight
No don't let me down tonight

Just one minute more, Then I'll walk right through that door
It's gonna be alright, It's gonna be alright
But'cha gotta
Gimme one more marker more
Then I'll walk right through that door
Gimme one more, don't let me down
It's gonna be alright, alright, alright

My mind is made up. I really like the songs, and think they're funny (rave?). I really don't like the all-in play on PSI II, but I think Barry's time rules are fine for the format. I think that Barry's wit could spice up poker shows that are becoming boring even for hard-core poker players and fans like us.
